For Sub-Station

• Only dry-type of transformers shall be used for installations inside the residential & commercial buildings.
• Oil filled transformers installed indoors other than in residential or commercial buildings are to be placed at the ground floor or not below the first basement.
• Duly filled and signed Form of Inspection Report
• Single line diagram of the installation showing supply & load side;
• Front & Plan view and equipment layout diagrams with dimensions and clearance from nearby structures/ buildings;
• A sketch showing earthing system;
• Original copy of Treasury Challan towards applicable Inspection Fee.
• In case of consumers installation, the following additional documents are to be furnished:
  • Copy of load sanction letter;
  • Permission/NOC for building installation & approved drawing;
  • No Objection or permission from land/premises owner;
  • Manufacturer’s test certificate of the Transformer, Circuit Breaker & other prime equipment;
  • Detailed load schedule and test report;
  • Electrical layout drawings;
  • Copy of Provisional Estimate;
  • Contractor, Supervisor, and Workman certificates;

For Multi-storied High Rise Building (Height > 15 meters)

• Duly filled and signed Form of Inspection Report
• Electrical layout drawings including earthing & Lightening arrestor;
• Details load schedule and test report;
• Permission/NOC for construction and approved drawings;
• Original copy of Treasury Challan towards Inspection Fee.
• Contractor, Supervisor, and Workman certificates;

For Overhead Line (11 KV/33 KV/132 KV and above)

• Duly filled and signed Form of Inspection Report
• Details of earthing;
• Sketch showing different supports used;
• Sketch of guards with dimensions & clearances;
• Route map and approval under Section 68 of Electricity Act 2003;
• No Objection or permission from land owner;
• Provisional Estimate and PTCC clearance;
• Contractor, Supervisor, and Workman certificates;

For Cable

• Duly filled and signed Form of Inspection Report
• Route map and cable laying system sketch;
• Manufacturer’s test certificate of the cable;
• Original copy of Treasury Challan towards Inspection Fee;
• Contractor, Supervisor, and Workman certificates;

For Generating Set

• Duly filled and signed Form of Inspection Report
• No Objection or permission from land owner;
• Electrical layout drawings with earthing plan;
• Manufacturer’s test certificate of Diesel Generating Set;
• Structural fitness certificate & NOC from Fire Service;
• Purchase document of Generating set;
• Original copy of Treasury Challan towards Inspection Fee;
• Contractor, Supervisor, and Workman certificates;

For Building Plan Approval

• Application via SWAAGAT portal for commercial/industrial buildings;
• Structural layout with safe clearances from Municipal/Development Authority;
• Mutation/Porcha and Tax clearance certificate;
• Original copy of Treasury Challan towards Inspection Fee;

For Polyclinic / Nursing Home/ Private Hospital/Laboratory

• Duly filled and signed Form of Inspection Report
• Mutation/Porcha of the land;
• Tax clearance certificate;
• Rent Agreement (if applicable);
• Single Line Diagram of electrical wiring;
• Trade License, Aadhar & PAN card of applicant;
• Original copy of Treasury Challan towards Inspection Fee;
• Contractor, Supervisor, and Workman certificates;

For Drawing Approval

• Application format for submission of drawings;
• Completion Certificate of electrical installation;
• Structural layout and safe clearances;
• Mutation/Porcha and Tax clearance certificate;
• Single Line Diagram of electrical wiring;
• Original copy of Treasury Challan towards Inspection Fee;
